Scoping a nice rifle

I'm not able to spend top money on that i don't have to. My requirement on a rifle scope is that they are clear, have not too thick of cross-hair, and that they hold Zero and are easily adjusted. My best purchases have been Burris Signature series scopes that were made in America. I have 3 of them and all are fabulous. If you got the coin, why not go top shelf ? But when it gets down to it, a scope is just a magnified cross-hair and i'd rather spend the extra money going hunting.

The 4.5-14x40mm Leupold Gold Ring with the B&C reticle sure is a nice scope. I also really like the 6x36mm and 6x42mm fixed power Leupolds. I have them on a few rifles and have never felt a need for anything else when using the fixed power scopes.
