I successfully defended my Master's thesis yesterday! hump So, other some editing and formating of the manuscript for publication I'm nearly done with the project that brought me west in 2001! Now I just need to convince the MailOrderBride to let me stay! |oo

Word to those in school, finish before you start working full-time...

Congrats!! I assume with 4,840 posts on Hunt Talk the thesis had something to do with the social ills of hunting forums on the internet... :D

Congrats, way to stick with the plan. Please give us a snapshot of the thesis.

I sure wish to heck I'd of finished my grad work. At the time I was working way too much, trying to be a dad, husband and hunt as much as possible. Something had to give, so it was school. If I ever get back to the Boise Valley I'll pick it up again.

I agree, finish before you start working. It took me about two extra years becasue I started working early too! Just get it done! Nice job pointer!

Thanks for the kudos guys!

My project is titled "Early vegetational responses to fall sheep grazing in a sagebrush steppe". I looked at the vegetation side of things while others looked at the sheep behavior/diet selection. The goal is to be able to use/train sheep to eat more sagebrush. By removing a good portion of the sagebrush we're hoping to increase grass and forb production while diversifying the age structure of the sagebrush. Basically, we want to be able to use sheep grazing to thin sagebrush and produce more forage.
