Saw some turkeys

I went for a long drive this weekend and saw these guys. I don't currently hunt turkeys because of my spring work schedule. Are these toms typical for Idaho?

Don't know if they're typical per se, but nice none the less...One looks like he has some 'hooks' on him...

I don't know much about judging turkey age or quality. I know generally older birds have longer beards and bigger spurs, but that's about it.

I bought the sportsman's package this year so I have a turkey tag. I'll have to see what the season dates are in this unit.
