I bought one in 7mm-08 for my 13-yr old grandson to hunt with and so far he has taken a trophy antelope, two nice muley bucks, and a five-pt bull elk with it. It is fairly light, fits him nicely, and he shoots it well at the range or in the field. I recommend you give it a try.

I will start working up a load for it with Hornady Inter Locks 154 grain as I have a few 100 of them. Bought them from MIDWAY as seconds.I cannot see anything that made them sell as seconds.Killed 2 moose ,some caribou and several deer with Hornady Inter Locks. Never a problem.
