San Juan river guide for a lowly spin fisherman

Anyone recommend a good San Juan guide service that will take a spin fisherman on a float trip?

Any luck with this? My guess is all of them will be willing to take your business but will likely try talking you into fly fishing. Those fish get caught so much as-is that many have mangled jaws and the corners of their mouths are all torn up from getting caught with tiny size 22 midge flies all day. The guides there all know this so they'll probably try to talk you out of using lures with big treble hooks. The good thing is even as a first time fly fisherman you'll catch fish there with a decent guide and probably have a really good time. Jade Duran seems to have a really good reputation there.
