Same Day (Montana) Bears

The Honey Hole strikes again. My wife and I spent 2 days in the hills and we both took awesome bears. I'm new to this forum stuff so hopefully the pictures are attached. We were guessing mine around 250-300 lbs. and hers around the 400-500 lb. mark. We had to pack mine out across a rivine, but hers we were able to back the truck up to. Gotta love her.....I told her to shoot one on the road and by god she did almost that.

I'm thinking your wife smoked a monster. Pictures are sometimes hard to judge but both bears look great. Let us know what they measure when you get the skulls clean. I'm betting your wifes is 19+.
I love that country your hunting those elk in. My friend has a ranch in the little snowies and the stuff looks just like yours. Big elk and lots of them. You must have a great connection there.

Thanks TLC, for posting the pics. Does it make scense that my bear might be older, but her bear was a lot bigger? The body on her bear was definitely bigger, but the head on mine was a little bigger. FWP also had a hard time getting the tooth from mine. They thought it was probably a really old bear. He may have broke the tooth when he extracted it, so I don't know if I'll get a confirmed age on mine. I will definitely let you all know who's skull is larger. I need to get "one up" on my wife on something. If hers is bigger, then I probably won't share.....lol... She gets me in deer and elk, so I would like to keep the bear department. Thanks everyone and I hope you all enjoy the pics.

Yeah Moosie, they are different. They don't like chocolate shakes as much as you do. Instead, they go to Jellystone and "Raid the pic-i-nic baskets, eeheeh BooBoo!"

Is it possible to post video clips on here? We got great video of both hunts, but her bear came running in and stood up on his hind feet at about 80 yards before she smoked him. I was wondering if I could cut a short clip and share it.....it really was pretty unbelievable.

Share away. I would love to see the clips. The bad part is that you will have to upload to a sharing site, such as Photobucket or You Tube, then post the link here for us to watch it. We don't have a web upload feature on this software.
