Saint ignatius Montana?

My uncle lives there near st ignatius and I would love to go mulie hunting with him , is that a decent area ? or can we do better? He is much more a bird hunter and sheep, mt goat Then a deer hunting guy

I can’t say I’ve seen much for deer in the area outside of the Bison Range.

I assume you know you cannot hunt deer around St. Ignatius unless you are a tribal member.

Hunt mountain whitetail. Loads of fun, probably one of the most challenging animals to hunt IMO.

We live north of St. Ignatius for the winter.
The highest density of whitetails I've ever seen.
Only tribal members can hunt big game within the reservation including the St. Ignatius area.
Non-tribal members can hunt pheasants, hungarian partridge, collared doves, ducks and geese on the reservation.
