Curious what other owners are torquing their action screws to on this rifle.
Mine is stock wood stock, glass bedded and pillared, & free floated.
I seem to recall reading some were using 60 in/lbs. on the angled screw (front), 35 on the rear, and finger nail tight on the middle.
Does this sound correct?

Those will work. Some are quoting Ruger saying 95 in/lb on the diagonal screw. I have never had any of mine more than 65 in/lb. Years ago I broke the cast aluminum trigger guard on mine by over-torquing the middle screw. Numrich Arms to the rescue. Just snug it.

I am careful to float the magazine box also. You should be able to move it when the action is torqued. If you can't, you are stressing the action pulling it down to the pillars.

Your middle and rear screw sound right. If I am working with an action that has not been bedded (wood) I pull 90 on the front. With nicely bedded actions pulling 60 - 70 seems to work well.

Such a pain in the arse getting to 95 inch pounds with a slotted screw. I switched mine out with socket head cap screws.
