Road Hunting Rip Off

It is even better killing an archery bull on the road, then you KNOW you are doing something right. Full gas tank, windows clean, weapon loaded and ready, plenty of beers:D

Little Brothers bull back in September. That morning was really good. One bugle out of the truck window and he came running in for 25 yard shot. Dumped him in sight. Back the pick-up to him.

If you can't tell I am suffering through post fall depression:(

Nice job, good looking bull, nasty looking fellow behind it. I was wondering if you got back up there to try to fill that tag. Might be a while before you get it again.

Not sure I will apply for that tag again. Strange place for sure. Saw some freaking whoppers. Had a lot of fun. I was 30 yards or so on 300+ bulls 5 times, it just never came together during archery. But I also saw 1100 of the 1200 residents with the tag during archery. Not sure how those bulls live to get big there. On the up shot, I didn't gun hunt till November 16th-18th and I saw NO one.

They get big because of the private property. That's why all the residents are out there during archery season. It's the best chance at a true monster, before they hit the private. That's a good bull, especially for this late in the season.
