Hey now. I’m far from an old fart. But I was force fed a steady diet of The Band, Mommas and the Papas, Gordon Lightfoot, ELO, CSNY etc etc in my youth.

The story about his passing showed up on my news feed watched a few vids this morning .Maybe its dumb or maybe part of me being an old fart but when some of the musicians I grew up listening to pass it gets me thinking about days gone by not in a bad way . But some of the guys and gals I went to shows with or spent time with from the past have moved on too
Just gets me thinking

I got the album Northern Lights - Southern Cross in 1975. Despite a lot of attention to other "Band" songs, I always felt Acadian Driftwood (about the Acadian diaspora) was among their best. RIP Robbie Robertson.
