You know, already replied to this, but now, after a couple of drinks, have to re-up, as my wife just handed me a glass of wine, and said, "To Jerry Jeff,". We saw Jerry Jeff AND Guy Clark a few years ago at the Red Ants Pants Festival in Montana. Bunch of hipsters, old hippies, and a few of us river rats, duck, deer, and elk hunters in our shorts, sandals, and my wife, lovely as always, in her signature John Wayne Stetson. Jerry Jeff invited all of us to come forward into the stage area where there was shade and to sing along. Hipsters began staring at us as we knew all the words. One of Guy's last concerts, as he soon left to join his beloved Susanna. I'm sure tonight he's saying, "What the hell took you so long? Let's play some Texas music!".
