Revolver Lovers, How did I do?

Snagged this at auction for $740. Says new in box, serial number shows 2011 Ruger Vaquero Bisley in 45LC

Msrp is $1100 but guessing they’d be listed at $900-950 in todays market.

Did I do pretty good on my purchase price?

Was moreso seeing if any aficionados can tell me I overpaid or if it was a pretty good price especially at an auction. I’ll love it regardless, I’ve been eying Vaqueros forever. Now I need another or a Blackhawk in .357

Eh with auctions I just worry I paid retail or more. But it didn’t look like it from the little research I did before bidding. Auctions tend to go for ridiculous prices so I was kinda surprised I got it for sub $800

It is a good price and great gun. One of my favorites. Most vaqueros are 800 plus. I have not seen a new one in a long time. Enjoy it!

I have a young friend that collects them... (This is not his entire collection. not all Bisley and not all Rugers)
He can spin them with the best of them, but not without a few casualties from dropping!
