WASHINGTON — A group of 26 former senior diplomats and military officials, several appointed to key positions by Republican Presidents Ronald Reagan (news - web sites) and George H.W. Bush, plans to issue a joint statement this week arguing that President George W. Bush (news - web sites) has damaged America's national security and should be defeated in November.

This should heat things up. It's gotta make any reasonable person question what's been happening.

We'll see if they have any reasoning that makes sense. I think 9/11 changed things. Terrorism has been building and building and it became front burner on 9/11. Its a war.

If Kerry wins, terrorism will be more successful, and it will be worse than now. There's a thought.

Kerry wants more help from the UN. They have their problems too. 9/11 changed things.

Here's a quote about what this group said,
"For 60 years we believed in quote-unquote stability at the price of liberty, and what we got is neither liberty nor stability," the strategist said. "

Things were not stable after 9/11, our liberty was attacked. 9/11 changed things, plus, Bush is making progress in seeking more help, e.g. the new UN resolution. Although, the value of all those resolutions against Saddam really weakened the liberty and stability of the UN, I would think.

Its a new world, after 9/11, terrorism is at the front.
