Request for Public Lands Info Sticky

Are you a "Green Decoy?" Just a liberal fake hunter? The organization and producers of the smear ads, "Green Decoys"

If the American Lands Council is a grassroots organization with widespread support of hunters and fishermen, why do they need to rely on Richard Berman's ads to attack Back Country Hunters and Anglers and Trout Unlimited as being fake outdoorsmen?

12/29/14 Congressional Research Service "Federal Land Ownership: Overview and Data". Useful maps of nationwide federal lands and data tables.
Can't get the link right, but copy and paste should work.

I'm sure somebody's 11 year old can turn this to an easy link, not in my skill set........

Randy,

You mentioned on the last episode of Elk Talk that you will be in Albuquerque on August 28, 2017. Can you please let me know the time and place where you will be talking about public lands?

Thank you very much.

TJ

Posted a public lands issue today that needs clarification. Seems public lands are increasingly being locked and blocked to keep citizens out. MTG

Nice job on the TED Talk Randy. But I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to hear you sing and play that guitar that was on stage behind you. :D

1500 acres near Battle Mountain. Not sure if this is the right place to post this but thought it was an important step in the right direction. Always positive when we acquire new public lands

Randy, would it be possible to create a sticky for the Public Land Issues topic where we could quickly access links to pertinent information about this issue? I've been having some very productive discussions the past several days with local individuals who are behind the curve in this conversation and want to educate themselves.

A sticky with links to sources of information about this topic that we can go back to would be incredible helpful. Links like the charts showing the percentage of state lands still retained by the states since they were granted admittance into the union, rebuttals of commons transfer arguments with facts and statistics, etc. would help me out a lot. As it is now, when I want to remember info that we discuss in a thread to link to a discussion I'm having on Facebook or email, it takes me a long time to search the forums and find the exact place it was posted in a thread.

Perhaps, we can keep this thread going for a while and a lot of you can contribute info and links they think are especially helpful and informative along with a brief summary of what you are posting. We can have the discussion for a while and then Randy or an administrator can choose the most helpful and turn them into a sticky.

I'm looking for links such as "Western States' Attorney Generals cast doubt on Utah land push" - http://bigstory.ap.org/article/e8a2...k-attorneys-general-cast-doubt-utah-land-push
Nice call
