Guys:
Many of you know we are working to upgrade the site. One thing that adds a lot of interest to the site are pics. Hunttalk has some really good pics from guys who know what they are doing when it comes to pics.
By June, the conversion of the site will be complete. I have some companies interested in sponsoring a "photo of the week" feature. Not really a contest, just a place to put cool pics for people to look at.
At the end of the year, the 52 weekly photographers will have their name thrown in the hat, and one person will win some pretty cool stuff. Still working on what that package will be, but it will be worth the effort.
So, any of you interested in having your pic considered for the "photo of the week" should email me your chosen pic. Please send a brief description of the pic or the people shown, the year the photo was taken, and the location.
Quality of the photo is not the only consideration. The subject matter, and the depiction of something interesting and important to hunters, will also be a big part of what gets posted.
Trophy photos will be part of it, but so will landscapes, live animals, camp pics, and family outings.
If you are interested, please email the photo and details to [email protected].
Thanks in advance.
