Remington 700 22-250
Heavy fluted 26in barrel
Bases and lapped rings
This rifle shoots really well, target is 5 shots with factory Hornady 50gr V-max
There isn't any marks on the floor plate or trigger guard, no marks on the barrel this thing is immaculate, stock doesn't have dings or anything. Let me know if you want more pics or any questions. I bought this together with the Leupold in the pics using the scope for a different project so rifle is going. Trigger breaks at 2lbs. I believe this is a version of the VSSF (the older good 1s) this is the only 1 I have seen that is black with fluted barrel. Scope not included.
Shipped to your FFL $950
Thanks Tanner

I would be guessing, the shop I got it from had it listed at 98%. We shot it last weekend for 10 shots to see how it shoots before I pulled the scope off, which is 5 of the 10 shots in the picture, I would say it's a low count, but can't tell you for sure, it's in really good shape.

You say one of the good ones...what year?

Before Freedom group took over in I believe 2007 or so. From what I can't tell it could be 1995 or 2021 which I don't think it was 2021. Seems like they reused stamps on the barrels, from the chart I just found. I can't find any with the same color stock??? Is yours black and fluted @MtsPSU ??
I can get ahold of Remington tomorrow and see what they say about the serial/stamps on it.

Have read mention of the 90's on other forum's threads.

Yes, mine is black and fluted. I’ll take a pic of the box tomorrow but believe it was a special run from Remington In the early 2000s.

Remington confirmed it was made in 1995. He couldn't tell much more than that, I'm guessing it has sat in a safe for a long time.

Do we need to play the pricing game?? This would be a great rifle!!
