Every March when the NCAA Basketball Tournament rolls around, I'm reminded back when you could buy 25-cent wings at Hooters whenever a Top 25 team was playing in the tournament somewhere in the country. You could easily stuff yourself on just a few bucks.

Small fries and a soda at MacDonald's cost an even dollar. Can of beer at the tavern was 90 cents.

My standard order of x2 double cheeseburgers, x2 McChickens w cheese and large fries at McDs used to be like $7. Now it’s $15 or more.

Still delicious tho.

We had nickel, dime and quarter draft night. The size of the cup would get smaller based on the price.

I remember a quarter night with mini solo cups. Get the cup filled and get back in a long line. I’d run out of beer before the refill.

We had Lincoln night pay $5 for the cup and then from 8-10pm every beer was 1 cent.

It would get a little out of hand. Haha
