I’m pretty sure the people at twitter got the same treatment. I also remember people saying that twitter had been paying them for years and they didn’t do anything. Either way you feel about him it’s a fairly interesting read about when he cut that sever room out of twitter

I don't know if they get the same treatment nor do I really care, but I can share with you that X operates on roughly 20% of the employees that Twitter operated on. That is not a govt entity like say the forest service so apples to oranges, but X seems to work just as well probably better than it did when it was Twitter with 80% less work force.

It's exactly posts/opinions like this one that have landed us where we are right now. Denying truths and claiming "everything is going to be okay" to cover for bad behavior, hypocrisy and outright lies.

Beignet's post above is spot-on. People and politics are driven by selfishness and tribalism. The truth and how things impact others, be damned.
