Is the May 1st opener for west of the Divide still on? I have been looking for info all morning but can't find anything. The phone numbers to the Fish and Game offices aren't being answered, no working on Saturdays I guess. Thanks.

Are you talking about Montana Wildlife Management Areas (WMA's)? They all open at noon on May 15.

Do you mean National Elk Refuge? If the hundreds of guys that were here this morning are any indication, then yes it was.
