Just got back from a week bow hunting in Southern Westland, South Island, NZ.
The area is known for decent stags but low numbers. I saw a few stags and got close to one in dense bush (most of the time you can only see 20 - 40 yards) but missed my chance with the bow.
Had an awesome adventure with great friends. Here are some photos.
