I grew up matter of fact we all grew up shooting tasco rifle scopes.Never had a problem but years gone by I went to the Simmons aetec it was superb until it wasn’t now my son and I both shoot the Leupold freedom 3-9-50 all doing great guess honestly only time will tell

I never felt like I went wrong with any of the VX3 variants. Always seemed to be my huckleberry in price and quality.

I’ve been really happy with the VX-Freedom line as well—it’s been reliable in all kinds of conditions and gives great bang for the buck. But if you’ve got room in the budget, the VX-3HD is a real step up in performance.

I just bought a new Leupold. A VX6 HD 4x24x52mm TMOA reticle. To go on my new Browning rifle. The VX 3 is a good one. I seen a VX5 sale few week ago for 600.00 . I am going to buy a VX3 4.5x14x40mm or a VX5 3X15 44MM. To go on my 300 wby.

It's not well known but Leupold offers a nice Veterans discount
