Im offering hog hunts on 2000+ acres of private farms/ranches in the lower texas panhandle. Price is $150 per hunter per day and need a 2 day 2 hunter commitment to make it worthwhile. Meals and lodging are available in childress or turkey tx. Shot opportunity is guaranteed. Very limited number of hunts sold. Hunting is possible year round and TX no longer requires an out of state license for hog hunting. If you are feeling extra spicy i can set you up with a knife hunt using dogs. Please PM for more details.

Just had 3 gentlemen from iowa down to hunt for a couple days. They hunted hard and covered a lot of country but were not successful. It REALLY bothers me for someone to make a trip like that and not get what they came for. I apologize to them for that. In light of the hogs going nocturnal for the most part, and likely to stay that way until fall, hunting at night with NV or thermal over farm fields, corn feeders, and water sources will be the only way for success.

I was one of the three ‘gentlemen’ from Iowa that Uplander mentioned above. There’s nothing for him to apologize for. We had a great time which is what we came for. We saw lots of very fresh sign so the pigs were there but they stayed one step ahead of us.
His son is a fine young man and we all appreciated the amount of time, work, and effort he put in. We all agreed we’d hunt with him again anytime.
Just a few more comments - we stayed at the Lumberyard in Turkey, TX nearby and it was great. Rooms were good and there was a large area that included a full kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, couches, pool table, etc. lots of space to relax when not hunting. The town of Turkey itself was really nice. We visited the Bob Wills museum (king of Western swing) and met several of the locals. If it weren’t such a drive I’d consider coming back for the Bob Wills Day celebration in April.
Thank you for letting us come down, we enjoyed it thoroughly and have nothing but positive comments about the entire trip.
Neil
