Some of you may remember that I took a BB with a crossbow during IN archery season last year, my first non-firearms animal. I used Casey's cb and found it to be a good, intuitive set up for me. Prior to going I tried a few bows at our shop but found that while I had no problem pulling, due to my shoulder/nerve issues I just could not hold/release well enough to do animals justice. Soooooo, last week I ordered my own crossbow and it came yesterday. A Centerpoint Ampd 425 out of which I'll be sending 125 gr Shwackers. Not something I will probably use on the west (although I do qualify for an exception) but should be great for Mr Whitey. I officially have a dog in the "crossbows shouldn't be allowed in archery season" fight now....
