I also up graded the rifle scope years ago to a Zeiss.
My BIL will get a pair of Alpen 10x50's for xmas for nature watching in CO, good used glass.

I was a little dubious about moving from EL's to Pures but can honestly say it was worth it...Ken Jr agrees.
