Purty Rifles are Interesting...

I scratched a #1 itch a couple years ago. RSI in 7x57, an interesting rifle (too me), that shoots well enough. #1's are, well, interesting...still like itView attachment 66958
Happen to have a Ruger bolt in 25-06 also.

Have always admired the Mannlicher stock types..and pondered their accuracy mitigation.

Harley - Everybody needs a coyote rifle.

A mannlicher stock shouldn't affect accuracy for hunting too much on a #1 unless it's affixed to the front of the barrel as well. Even then, you should be able to get 1' groups with some diligent hand loading.

I have two Ruger 1B's in 6mm Remington and 30-06! Both shoot extremely well and are gorgeous rifles. Just so classy looking too and I love hunting with them.! That 25-06 you have is beautiful and the 25-06 is one fantastic antelope and deer rifle, and can also work on elk. I've shot one with a 25-06 and let a friend of my son's use it on his elk also.
