Yea watching his brows slowly blade out over the years has been cool. Its my favorite characteristic on him.I love the brow tines. It will be interesting to see if a lack of competition may change up chiefs routine next year.
Yea i feel kinda silly that it sounds like I settled for him. I'd be lucky to ever shoot a buck like him again on public ground. The other deer has skewed my expectations...hahaThat’s a pretty good buck to “settle for”.
Congrats.
I think he is 1 year younger. I think they are 7.5 and 6.5. I think chief was 3.5 when I first seen him and this buck was 2.5 I first started seeing him.Do you think he is younger or older than Chief?
Lol yep, just meeting some of the friendly locals. Among other things....Thanks dude. I wish we could got you on one. You had some eventful hunting tho. Ha
My thoughts exactly. Congratulations! That’s a pretty good buck to “settle for”.
Congrats.
You know @VAspeedgoat said something similar. I never thought of this. It makes some sense. I guess we will see if he is still out there.Shake his routine up a little bit with his running mate missing. A guy can hope
@Hilljackoutlaw you putting out feed yet to make sure Chief makes it through the winter?Exceptional buck. I think you made the right choice on not passing on him. I like those old bucks with heavy mass. I hope chief turns up on your trail cams and you find his sheds and he grows even bigger in 2021
