PSA: Trampolines

The father of my two-year-old granddaughter decided it would be fun to take the kids to the trampoline park. Doctors recommend against this.

It turns out that when a little kid stands on a trampoline and a larger kid bounces near them the shock wave not only sends the little one flying it also can fracture their Tibia right below the knee.

It's so common, they even have a name for it, "trampoline fracture"

Fortunately, two-year-olds don't let something minor like that keep them down.

I had temporary paralysis because of a dang trampoline when I was probably 10ish. I was back on the damn thing doing the same game 6 hours later. I literally couldn't move my legs for a good 3 or 4 minutes. My friends were freaking out, I was freaking out, my friends dad was freaking out. Looking back it was hilarious, but damn i was scared for a few minutes.
