Cross-posting here for awareness. I love my Gen 2 HDX 16's and jumped at the chance to give Sig more of my money on the 18 pro's. They are objectively worse at clarity, size, weight, batteries, stabilization... Sig only stands behind their "low light performance improvement".
This new gen is great way to lose money and gain frustration. If you do buy them just make sure to never look through the better and cheaper Gen 2's.

Has anyone had a chance to do any side by side comparisons with the new Sig Zulu6 hdx Pro 50mm OIS? Perhaps compared with the Kite APC 50 or even the previous model Zulu6 HDX 16x42, or Canon 15x50? I currently have a Zulu6 HDX 10x30 and 16x42. I had a chance to pit them against my Meopta...

You may want to hang on to those 10x. I absolutely love mine. The 20's are OK. In a more perfect world I think I would have the 10's on my chest and the new Sawro 14's for tripod use but I am OK with where I am at. Yeah I really want to try some ranging binos instead of the 10s but it’s...
