Project 2025.....

I started on a grain bin gazebo today. I cut a hole in it and shoveled old oats for 5 hours. Last year I turned the grain bin next to it into a swimming pool. Once the gazebo is done I have plenty of grading and landscaping to do around both. If I get time I’ll build a small deck off of the pool.

What home projects or honey dos are you planning this year?

Ha - and if you post about politics i hope your ass gets chapped from spicy food in the near future.
I’m gonna reroof the house. Easy roof, 4-12 pitch, but I am not motivated to do it at all. Tons of other projects that I personally don’t care about but apparently I need to do. Landscaping is about as low on my list as projects can get but the wife is wanting it done so I suppose I’ll have to get that done too.

What'd/how did you line the bin with for the pool?

Almost certainly need to redo a fence. Continue update outlets and light switches. Would like to do a major yard remodel with raising parts of it, lowing some and just getting it to a better grade with better top soil. Bigger projects would be a new kitchen counter and redo 1-3 bathrooms

I had to adjust the diameter of the bin to be exactly 24’, which is a standard size for an above ground pool liner. Once the size was right I lined it with pool wall foam and the installed the liner. That’s the simplified explanation. It was a lot of work to get it how I wanted it.

Yah, figured you had to get creative. I like it.

Bought all the insulation for the shop, going to put up insulation on all walls from the floor (concrete) to ceiling. The ceiling will be sprayed. Immediately following I'm putting in a big loft, the underside will serve as a work area. Electric ran and will be heated via propane. Never installed a propane heater but good thing I know a semi-pro HVAC feller @Wyhunter

All hopefully to be done this summer. That's if I have a job after Project 2025...

What are the specs on the slab?

I am putting up a similar 12 footer for my daughter (stock tank panels).

I've got a few more things to get cleaned up before I get rid of the dumpster. Not going to put in a garden so I should fill in the low spots and plant grass again. Think I'll make an attempt to spruce up the joint and plant some flowers again next to the house. Didn't get around to it last year. Been debating about setting up a spare bedroom. I'll probably find a few other little projects to keep me busy this summer.
