And people wonder if we get snow in the UP. The picture taken from the top of the snow drift along the Lake Superior shoreline.

Some of those big thumper bobcats are awesome. We get some pretty big ones in remote areas down south, too bad the fur is nothing like those northern cats. Awesome photos

I found a couple more pictures of the past. Weasel box sets. They keep the weather out and trap working when the snow starts flying. Weasel just can't resist exploring something with about 2 1/2" inch holes in it.
As a matter of fact they can't resist hanging around the fur she'd with you either.

Multiple mink had very recently moved through this area. A few Bottom Edge type sets with 110 conibears would have made today a great trap check. This area has produced a couple of Fur Harvester's Top Lot Mink Awards in past years.

Skunk #2 this fall. It's not glamorous work by any means.But the pheasants will appreciate it this spring.

We target bobcats, and a few coyotes depending on how our access is through the snow. Really missing our mentor, he passed a few years back.

I picked up trapping at the insistence of a few friends as an after deer season activity. Its a lot of fun but also a lot of work! Figuring it out slowly and it keeps the landowner happy

Some fur that I sent out and got it tanned just for turning it into memory pieces.

Randy, I hope you are feeling better. The beaver has been on the wall a long time. It might even be the beaver that is on the VHS that was sent out from my old days. The one pictured, is the lightest colored I have ever caught.
