Previous Co cow moose hunters

A buddy of mine (non-resident) had 2 points. Last summer he got a call from CPW that he was next in line for a returned cow moose. Last I heard from him, his wife and kids are only a little bit tired of eating moose meat.

It’s the NR price tag for a cow. Odds are not bad because few want to pay that for a cow. Resident odds are way worse with the cheaper tag cost.

I am hoping to pull a cow moose tag next year with 3 points but I am forever doubtful. Going to have to start looking at units fairly hard and make a decision.

3+5 I decided I just wanted to hunt moose. My cow was with a bull so I counted that as successful. Not sure I would have wanted to pack out anything much bigger either! I’ll go to Alaska someday for a bull… hopefully.
