I can't say I disagree with sentiment here between wolves and grizzlies decisions just being prolonged thru court battles

I think the point is that if they could pass another bill, it will undo the effect of the Endangered Species Act. No idea if they have enough votes or not.

While I agree that many distinct population segments warrant delisting and should be managed by state game agencies, it is always going to be short sighted to purposely exclude carefully designed checks and balances so that whoever is in charge can get there way with as little opposition as possible. Checks and balances as there to protect all of our interests.
