This time of year they are active. They spawn right as the ice goes out or even before. Luckily I was only in 5 feet of water so I had a lot of line on the spool to work with. I catch a few each year panfishing but it’s usually when I have a jigging spoon or something more active on, not a wax worm.How the Sam hell??? That's fantastic so don't get me wrong Geller though 2lb test, no wire leader, a pan fish jig hook, and tiny ice fishing reel spool of what? 70 yards?
Are pike lethargic movers when it chills during ice fishing? Even still, that is beyond epic. Haha.
