Super excited I drew my bear tag. Will be going on my first bear hunt ever, going to be a blast. Now time to finalize all of the travel details.

You should have a great time. Great time to be in SE Alaska. I went before the hunts were draw tags. I could only imagine that it has only gotten better now.

Ya, I only have 6 months to plan and worry. Luckily, I was so excited I had already been looking at sat maps since december

I will definitely do a write up, and I hope to have some good go pro footage. I have decided to use my bow, if my shoulder fully heals before then. I separated it a few months ago, but I got a cortisone shot on Monday. So, hopefully, I will be good to go by september.

We were drawn, but it is for spring 2021. Another 13 months wait. Turns out to be a good thing.
