POW in '04 or '05?

I've corresponded with the guy from Paradise a few times also. I would listen close to what he has to say. It's hard to find better advice, IMO.

All it takes is to mention bear hunting and BW perks up!

Yep, it's bears that get me excited!

I've learned that I get excited no matter who pulls the trigger, as long as I'm there!

To be more clear, on my posts above, P.O.W. is better for 'road hunting' and cheaper access. Kuiu is a better 'wilderness' hunt best done via a skiff and a transporter. BUT! P.O.W. can produce a great boat hunt too.

I guess a hunter needs to decide on which type of hunt they want. A P.O.W. hunt via the road system, seeing many other hunters every day, or a hunt where they feel like they're the only folks left on the earth.

There are places on Kuiu where seeing other folks is rare, not the norm.

I've got my brown and black bear hunts planned to the "T" for May of this year.

3 straight weeks of bear huntin'...think I need more wall space!
