With all the discussion that goes on around here about politics, I thought it would be interesting to see where people on Hunttalk stand. I made this poll anonymous so you won't be ashamed of being a Bush-Basher or Bush-Lover. However, comments are welcome. I'm not using this for anything, I'm just curious.

This will support the reality that the majority of Americans are moderate to conservative today and that the minority just seems to have mass due to their loud whining and liberal media cronies bombarding the airwaves with a political agenda. hump

A-frickin'-men..

"This will support the reality that the majority of Americans are moderate to conservative today ....."

This quote will support the reality that ringer deserves to be on my "ignore" list for his consistent idiotic posts. You can't draw any conclusions from a poll in SI answered by 15 guys who participate in a hunting board forum. Anyone who tries has a screw loose.

Technically I believe this will support the fact that a majority of HuntTalkers are moderate to conservative. Which I'm sure will surprise no one on here.

I don't think anyone believes that such a small sample of a group of people all having similar interests is truly representative of America today.

As for this poll it doesn't mean squat but my point is valid. You can take any kind of national poll and you will find that America is by far in the moderate to conservative range. Good example was the poll yesterday on AOL asking for a rating for the Katrina response. Bush did well in fair to excellent and Blanco and loudmouth mayor did terrible. If you listened to the media it was all Bushy's fault. I would say that the users of AOL represent the broadest and most accurate cross section of America.

And that is why you should never make any conclusions based on your own thinking. Please let others think for you and make your decisions for you. You are obviously ill-equipped.

I've read plenty of those AOL/MSN/etc. polls (though not the exact one you speak of). Most have a slant to the accompanying story, not to mention the "attention grabbing" headline which slant the polls from the get go.

For you even to click on the story you need to want to read the story first. Which means you generally go toward stories which are in your interest range. This does not provide for unbiased opinions.
