No, just soaked overnight in salt water. Well, actually over 24 by the time I cooked them. Didn't feel like messing around with an egg wash so I just dredged the wet pieces in heavily seasoned flour and pan fried in oil and turned when they were good and golden. Just kind of winged it as usual. Turned out pretty good!

I like a light breading. Sometimes egg wash is too much and doesn’t let you taste the meat, but only the breading.
 
You’d better lock those eggs up in your safe. I hear they’re worth their weight in gold these days. Especially the “legal in Colorado ones”. 😆
Funny thing is that those are just old cartons we reuse. I get a couple dozen eggs each week from a neighbor. Even better than "free range" 😊
