Places to sell gold and silver coins

Where is a good place to sell gold and silver coins above the spot price? Most dealers only buy at the spot price which is significantly lower. Thanks

It’s not easy to find a dealer that will pay above spot as most dealers sell coins for spot + X (eg spot + $90 for gold 1oz coin). If the dealer pays above spot he’s cutting into his own profits. I’ve sold to Apmex in the past and been happy with them. You could try eBay or similar auction sites for coins if you aren’t in a hurry for the money.

we sold some to a coin store several years back in Farg ND. I went through and found which ones were worth more than the going silver price. They were fair with us, ebay is another place.

Why sell? Gold & silver actually have tangible value verses paper, especially in volatile markets like now.

the paying off loan part is a good decision.

Here is a brief 2021 YTD summary
Inflation (CPI) over 6%
Gold down -5.2%
Dollar (Dxy) up 6.7%
S&P 500 up 25.8%

Hold Gold coins and wait for the inflation apocalypse? There seems to be a high cost for doing that. Maybe 2022 will be the year.
