Looking for pigeons for the purpose of dog training. I’m located just north of Pittsburgh, PA but willing to travel a little ways for the right deal.

You should check with your local Navda group. They’ll have a few members with pigeons or a pigeon source.

They’re also a great group to train with in a lot of locations.

It’s become apparent that I’m in competition with my fellow NAVHDA members for local pigeons.

I was able to get a few from an Amish community near me in IA...went to the feed/seed/hardware store and told them I'd like some pigeons... Couple days later I went pack w cash to pick them up.

Also found a local game bird breeder where I could buy mature quail about the same price as pigeons, and used those too.

Stop by a local farm and ask if you can trap/catch them. It's pretty easy to do at night.

If closer I would help you but I shoot them since they make a terrible mess in my barn.
