Pickup bed rails/mounts

I've been lacking on pickup bed organization for a while now and want to get a better system than a couple milk crates and misc. tools rolling around the truck bed.

I've been thinking about some kind of molle or rail system to attach a shovel, axe, jack, etc. on the side of the bed above the wheel well. Doesn't need to be a molle system, open to just some individual mounts as well.

Doesn't need to be prefab either. Would love to see any homemade contraptions anyone's got.

I'd like to avoid drilling into the bed and would prefer to use some of the existing holes in the bed.

Anyone got anything they've had good/bad experiences with?

Thinking sometime like this... Molle Panel... or like this Accesory Mount.

I'm not too well versed in 'overlanding' gear or anything like that, so hoping to get some guidance.

Do you have steel fabricating/welding capability?

Du-ha makes side storage and Decked makes bottom of bed storage. Other than that think about adding some E-track and then you can use all kinds of connectors.
