My taxidermist sent me a pic of my most recent pheasant mount. It took nearly a year but it's worth the wait. Now I need to get my butt over to Florence to pick him up. He'll reside in my office next to my wood duck. This is my 3rd mount done by Eugene at Wildfowl Unlimited.

That is a great looking mount. I have a bird that I am going to drop off at the taxidermist and this is exactly the pose I had in mind. Yours turned out amazing.

IMHO there are no prettier birds than @#)(# pheasants and male woodies! That mount may be the nicest I've ever seen.

Great mount, I've got one at the taxidermist right now. Probably the most amazing looking game bird there is.

Beautiful. What did a mount like that cost, if you don't mind me asking? I have a couple teal mounted by a gentleman in Colorado, but I like the look of your rooster. Maybe I'll have to save one next season, price dependant of course.

This mount was a bit more expensive because it's not a standard pheasant pose that a lot of guys get. I had Eugene add whatever he felt the bird needed so it's on a 3 piece wall mount with rocks, soil, barbed wire, etc versus the standard plaque with a flushing pheasant. In the end I'm $375 plus cost to pick it up (shipping would have been super expensive). I believe Eugene's current price for a pheasant is $295.

If you are considering a bird mount be sure to pick a guy that specializes in birds above all else
