I thought the 6.5 cm was built off the 30 tc case.

270 wby for 257 and 7mm wby

300 wby for 6.5-300 wby and 340 wby

30-06 has also created 280 rem, 338-06, and 35 whelen

338 win and 264 win were developed together on the same case and the uncommon 30-338 uses the same case

30-30 win necked up to 32 special

6.5 Creedmoor necked up is a 338 lapua magnum, based on anecdotal evidence of its killing power

Saums, wsms, RUMs, and 26/27/28/30/33 nosler all have 404 Jeffrey as the parent case or at least inspiration.

Not that I know of. It was specially designed for the Win M88, but really was years and years ahead of its time.

.473 diameter cases start with the 7.9x57. That includes almost every non magnum made in the last 130 years. 375H&H was the first belted .532 diameter case most belted magnums were made from. .404 Jeffery and the RUMs and short magnums. Not sure for the .378 diameter cases? .222 Remington maybe?

Everything that came later was just a modification of original cases made 100+ years ago. Necked up, necked down, shortened, lengthened, etc.

Basically the 7.5x55 Swiss. Winchester rebated the rim to fit the common .473 bolt face.
You can use the .284 cases for the K Swiss even though the rim is rebated as most rifles still extract fine.

Pretty sure the parent to the .300BLK is actually the .221 Fireball.

Don't know but I did around 500 from selected .223 brass

220 Russian is the parent for 22 and 6mm PPC, 6.5 grendel, 6 ARC, 22 ARC.

That's the hard way. Just neck up fireball brass instead of cutting brass down and potentially having to ream.

They all come from the .222 remington anyway, so there's no wrong way to get there.

Except,,, I have buckets of .223. It was kind of a pain in the butt. Cut, size, trim. Once you get a rhythm going it's still a pain in the ass but I had nothing better to do at the time.
