Anybody pack in a solar charger for phone or inreach?

Looking for peoples experiences with these chargers and product recommendations.

I don’t know much about them and what’s available.

I bought a foldable 4 panel 25k mAh on Amazon. Charges good but needs to be pampered. No real way to hang from a pack while hiking to easily. This one states working temp range 32-113f.

I have a goal zero solar panel that charges my phone or will charge external power banks.

Also have a Goal Zero Collapsible solar lantern that I love.

Nathan, how long does it take to charge a phone on average? Do you carry it on your pack or set it up when you stop? Thanks!

I have a flex/packable solar charger picked off Camofire from a while ago. However, with the charge capability from small pack chargers themselves, this has found its place in my excess gear bin.

I don’t use it to charge my phone directly. I keep it on my pack and charge a portable power bank all day and then charge my phone off that at night.

Amount of sun matters for speed of charge. I don’t think it fully charges my power pack in a day with the type of use I give it but it charges enough to keep my phone full when I charge that over night.

Not sure if that makes sense or not.
