@p-ham earthquake

Felt one that was 40ish miles away and magnitude 4.3 as a kid. I remember it being pretty scary. Glad everything's alright.

@p_ham not to be nerdy- but it'd be worth checking out your foundation for cracks and your roof trusses for separation. If you have a problem down the road the insurance company will have successfully hot potatoe'd you and left you with a bill..

California earthquake insurance is an add on. It's equally ridiculously priced as flood and fire insurance. Hopefully Nevada isn't as outrageous.

It did cross my mind as I was watching the roll up door do the wave. I'm going to have to make sure the machines are still leveled out too.

I was putting a roof on my wood shed, standing on 4 cords of wood, 8' in the air, when I felt the rumble. Then the sway of the shed. I hopped down quick just in case that was the beginning of something bigger. All good though, didnt rumble for more than 15 seconds. When they get past the mid 6's I worry a bit more.

Another little shaker in Sonoma area. If it keeps up I could have beach front property!
If "global warming" would hurry up and raise the oceans 30', Id be less than an hour from the beach and still live in the mtns. Could be fishing the great inland sea of central CA. Honestly would be amazing.
