With all the seasons coming around I thought I would bring this thread up again. Seeing pics of kids and their moments in the field is always something that gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. Contribute if you feel like doing so.

Glad you revived this one, love seeing the youngens! My only youngster is still too young to hunt, but hopefully he'll have some pictures in about a decade!

My son Easton with his first turkey this spring. This hunt trumps all others.

My son got his first shotgun this year at age 8. A .410 single shot.

He connected on his first shot at a live critter. A dove. He has shot 4 in the 3 times we've been out, he's pretty selective on his shots and sometimes eating snacks takes priority over shooting birds, but I've been pretty proud of him.

Here we are back at the house on the first night out. He got 2 that night.

We have been discussing whether he is up for a deer hunt this fall....

alrighty then...

Here we are in camp. What a thrill. My son is in the middle - never stopped talking.
Note : he is only 10, no big game tag, not his, but might as well be. He had a bull come to 10 yards?????

It was an amazing time in elk camp and big game hunting.
Amazingly humble as well.....that is a story for another time & but this year was very, very special.
