Well, here is my first "antlered" bull in a while. Hunting in a Spike only area will limit your abilities to take antlered animals, I usually try to get a cow in archery season. Not an exciting story. Got him in the first hour of Saturday while looking for my wifes first deer. He is one of the more unique spikes I have seen.

The elk's right side horn grew downward!
 
Kickstand? I like the fact that you probably loaded him in the truck whole.
 
Thanks to all you guys!! He is very, very tasty. We ate the first steaks off of him last night!!! I agree, nothing like eating a young elk! Especially ones that feed on Alfalfa a good portion of their lives!!!

Yes Oak, he was very easy to load! Just the way I like them!

It will probably be the one and only spike I do a Euro mount on.
