3 rules that our original captain always said, ( he will fish with us a day or two, truly great person and has become a great friend)
1. There is one captain on a boat, period.
2. Never hook a fish bigger than you're willing to reel in.
3. No swimming.
If in doubt about any of the rules, always refer to rule 1.

I have family up there who run charters and I get along with them really well I'm going with them... thanks for thinking of me though
Good to go. Have an address to send a check. Talking about this when my daughter was here she said if I didn't say yes she was going to grab my computer and do it for me! We were JUST talking last week about me wanting to go back to Alaska but didn't feel like traveling alone. Problem solved. Now I have to go back through past trip threads and brush up. Two big trips in one year. Cool.

This would need to be a full on movie quality production. Pre and post fishing interviews, video of the rj’s training camp, Big fin of course would get filming rights but he would need to send multiple camera operators, drones, underwater cameras, chase boats and the whole nine yards. A hunttalk bet line. I’d open the odds with rj as an underdog, but the line could shift depending on his pre trip training and of course fighting, I mean fishing, weight.

Crazy how things work out! I always loved the pictures @BuzzH would post from these trips and wanted to do it myself. Now I am. Not only the fishing but going to Kodiak! Lori and I just never make it there with all of our trips to Alaska. I even have enough miles on my card for a free round trip flight! It's like I was supposed to do it or something. My daughter really pushed me to sign up. She said that I deserved it. Not sure about that.Dang buddy you get all the fun this year!
