OnXMaps Questions

I recently purchased the premium membership for my iphone and have heard that boundaries in Wyoming may be inaccurate. I also have ordered a 1:100,000 map from the local office for my area 76. Does anyone have any experience using OnXMaps and how accurate is the boundary information in WY? Thanks

Did you update it yet? They came out with an update for it yesterday. The boundaries look to be a little more accurate as are the roads. As a whole though, im not a fan of the update. Every time I log on now I have to set the state and layers I want all over. Its also not as user friendly. And another thing, the offline maps "fail" to save. They better have another update soon

Thanks for the response. I did update it yesterday. I am not having the log in problems you are having though. Not sure why. I saved a offline map earlier today and it did save.

I can log in fine but it doesnt save any of my settings. My offline feature still isnt working as well. I guess ill delete and reinstall and see if that helps

I can't download the 5 mil high res (tried 3 times)
but the 10 mil med res works fine

My 5 mile failed as well; what fixed it was to leave the phone alone when it was d/l and assembling the map.

Mine is downloading maps fine. However, downloaded maps don't have property boundaries which are rather important to me. I also have to set layers every time. All in all not crazy about it. I'm hoping they fix the saved maps not having property boundaries. If not I'll cancel service I guess as that is of primary importance to me.

I'll have to try the 10 mile maps. If they don't fix all these issues I won't renew as well

They also no longer show when you're due to renew, or what maps you have purchased. I emailed them, and they just said it's not available any longer.
Given the other issues you guys are having, I'm going to stick with my 2016 maps until they get it figured out.

They can have wrong info because it is based partly on county info supplied to them for landowners etc.
BLM surface ownership maps are the best backup. The State land board recc. them for accurate depictions of state lands in Wyoming.

just checked out WY, and yes it looks to be way off, my parents own 5 acres and it shows it on the wrong side of the road.

So iam lost, have Onx on my phone and iPad went to get the update but couldn't find it. Did sign in and saw a map of Wyoming that I have never seen before. Completely diffent then the apps I have on my phone or iPad, it had better satellite photos and imagery and completely different setup for my layers. Some one help me out please. Thinking maybe iam not using it to it fullest potential.
