No reason, probably 75% of them are dead.Clearly time for a January road hunting “shoulder season”
This winter is going well. Hopefully the GF can keep their foot off the tag gas pedal for at least 2-3 more years. Here's to more scenes like that in the near future!
In the video description it says Encampment, WY.I am confused. Where is this?
I think pretty much statewide, but some areas less than others. In general, I would say pronghorn across the board are 50% of what they were when I moved here in 2000. Some areas slightly better, some a whole lot worse.@BuzzH were the antelope hit as hard in the Bighorn basin and NE as they were in the SW corner. Know it was a hard winter last year for them, hopefully this winter stays mild and doesn't come one with a vengeance in Feb/Mar.
Nowhere near Cody.Apparently taken around January 1
I’ve said it a lot last year but driving through the desert to Baggs was cryptic. Looked like a nuclear bomb went off, dead animals every 1000 yards off the highway.I think pretty much statewide, but some areas less than others. In general, I would say pronghorn across the board are 50% of what they were when I moved here in 2000. Some areas slightly better, some a whole lot worse.
Nope, that video is old... not from this year.Apparently taken around January 1
