My daughter hasn't hunted since her first season. She asks me on Friday how much a deer tag costs because she was going hunting with her boyfriend and needed a tag.

So off they go and she returns with a nice scope mark.

Congrats to her! Looks like a pretty decent buck. You may need to give the boyfriend a few lessons on photography... :D

One cell phone pic......I agree...boyfriend needs a lesson in photography...nice buck to your daughter.......O and I bet she wont forget that scope mark any time soon..(ouch) .....

Sole reason for the scope mark......... THAT SWEATSHIRT!! Looks like she deserved it! :) Just kidding... Saturday's game was punishment enough for you guys :D

I only let her wear UM stuff when there is a chance to either tear it or getting it muddy, cruddy or bloody.

This one is headed to Bozeman next fall so we will have one at both schools. My wife and I are still both Bobcats and it is tough to write checks to the other school.

Grats to your daughter! Lessons learned through her life... your always with her.
The other thread glow of a pride filled family. Grats to ya!

Edit: MSU? Oh God! Least one built some independence to attend the "right" school... After all, MSU grads typically find their need to complete their education at the "right" school. ;) :)

My wife spent time at MSU then off to UM for her masters. She cheers for both though no matter my attempts, Griz v Bobcat... she cheers the bobcats.

Everybody's gotta have a cruddy sweatshirt :)

Bobcat here also... but can't complain about true Montanan's staying here in Montana here no matter which university they choose. Especially those who support and are active in the sportsmen world! Looked like you raised em right!

congrats to your daughter.

dads become less cool over time. then they become cool again later in life.

did the boyfriend end up with any forehead marks for the crappy picture?

You just completely ruined my day with what I have to look forward to as they get older.:(
My 4 daughters aren't allowed to date til their 24:D, so hopefully they'll hunt with me for a while before the boyfriend thing rears it's ugly head.
I keep telling them that they can marry more land in minute than I can buy in a lifetime and dad's hunting takes precedence over love! We shall see..................

Good job to your daughter!

Hey, you can at least be glad she is dating someone who is keeping/getting her involved in hunting! Could be worse, could be a tree hugger!!!!
